Product Details
Alice In The Womb is an imaginative look at the step by step development of a human being in utero. As the baby grows and changes from two haploid cells into a fully formed baby, the womb around her evolves into a creature-filled dreamland, page by page. The only text on the colouring pages are figure numbers tucked into the margins away from the art, and an attached glossary the back gives detailed descriptions of each phase in a humorous, candid tone. At about 4 x 11 inches, this book is a convenient travel size for the colourist on the go (or in the waiting room). As a meditative tool, this is the perfect way to peacefully illuminate the beginning of your own life's journey, or reflect on the work your own child is doing or did, to prepare themselves for life outside the womb.
I drew Alice In The Womb while pregnant with my first born, Alice.
