This unique and beautiful mountain sun catcher features a mix of transparent and solid gray glass as mountains, black crushed glass as tree silhouettes at the base of each mountain and iridescent strips of glass as rippling water on a base of blue or red glass. Design is finished with a sprinkling of clear crushed glass above the mountains. Once fired in the kiln, the textured effect remains.
FINISHED APPEARANCE NOTE: Since each one is cut by hand, actual finished appearance may differ slightly from photos shown (i.e. mountain peaks and rippling water pieces slightly different). I always do my best to ensure that all pieces are as close to the samples as possible.
From design stage to finished product each sun catcher takes approximately 26 hours to create.
My pieces are all cut by hand and kiln-fired in my home studio. They are created with great time, care and attention and each order is carefully inspected once complete to ensure that each item is free from damage or defect prior to shipping. I will package them with care to ensure they arrive safely to you.
