Western Red Cedar Obelisk with Sphere or Spire finial. These are beautiful vertical gardening structures made from select grade cedar which us long lasting and resistant to decay. We mill our own and also acquire lumber from local mills. Most lumber milled from trees has knots or other natural features which makes it less desirable for many higher end applications such as furniture or architectural uses but is perfect for outdoor garden structures. Select red cedar last as long as premium grade lumber and is structurally sound so it is perfect for low maintenance high intensity gardening. Select Red cedar in its natural state will last anywhere from 15-40 years above ground depending on local conditions, can be left outdoors in all four seasons.
Available with Sphere or Spire Finial, Stainless Steel Fasteners and easy self alignment assembly. All our products are made on Vancouver Island.

All obelisks may have a dimension variance of 3% due to wood supplier variances in wood thickness and length, sphere diameter or spike length as well as for wood shrinkage.

Designed for 4 season use, can be left outdoor all winter in any climate. Can be left natural (will age to a pewter gray Patina), knotty cedar color variations range from almond white to a rich chocolate brown, obelisks can be stained or painted to any desired color.
