Inspired by one of Banff's most recognizable landscapes, Where Cascade Meets the Bow captures the meeting of two iconic natural features of Cascade Mountain and the flowing waters of the Bow River.

Painted in my expressive style, I tried to capture the movement of light across the landscape, with vibrant colours and sweeping reflections that invite the viewer into the scene. I love the ever-changing relationship between mountain, river and sky which makes me feel so connected to the Canadian Rockies.
